Explain the term ‘Marketing Mix’?

Marketing mix are multiple factors that can be controlled by the business.

What is the role of Price in the marketing mix?

The role of price is used to figure out how much a product should cost. A price too high will make customers drive away from the product as it just simply even worth it. A price too low will make customers most likely buy the product but you will lose out on profits and most likely lose money. A price just right should satisfy both parties.

Why is Product marketing important?

This is important because you want the people to know your product is there. In gaming product marketing is important so players can get hyped for the new releases. Most of all you can see the player receptions of the product so that you can see what needs to be changed by the launch date. Recently, a trailer was released for Sonic The Hedgehogs movie adaptation and viewers were disgusted by the design of the main character. The creators then went on to redesign the character and viewers loved it.

Is the role of the 4Ps within the marketing mix still relevant?

To put it simply, yes. More than ever before. Especially in gaming.

Product - This is to figure out what your product needs. Does it need to have a physical copy, is digital the best way to go.

Price - People tend to walk away when they think a product isn't worth it.

Promotion - How will people buy the product when they dont know its there?

Place - This, in my opinion, is the most important because there are hundreds of different places to buy from and you need to sell where your players are.
